Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Seminar in USA

Hombucho Kondo Katsuyuki

Announcing an open Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Seminar conducted by Kondo Katsuyuki, Sensei. He was awarded Menkyo Kaiden (license of complete transmission) in 1988 by the Takeda Tokimune. Sensei currently leads the Shimbukan Dojo, which serves as the Daito Ryu Aikijujutsu Headquarters, overseeing branch dojos operating in Japan and throughout the world.

Ryushin Jigen Ryu Seminar in USA

Soke Kunikazu Yahagi

Announcing a Ryushin Jigen Ryu Kenjutsu Seminar conducted by Kunikazu Yahagi, Soke. Sensei currently leads the Seiseikan Dojo in Tokyo, which serves as the Ryushin Jigen Ryu Headquarters. RJR is a small style originally from Kyushu and is unusual in its use of a smaller, lighter-weight sword and many one-handed techniques.

Ryushin Jigen Ryu Retreat

Phil Ortiz, Chief Instructor, NY Budokai

Announcing a Ryushin Jigen Ryu Iaijutsu weekend retreat in the Catskill Mountains in update New York. This will provide an opportunity for 2 full days of intense training and hands on instruction with Phil Ortiz Sensei. Ortiz trained for over 35 years with the founder of the New York Budokai, Yoshiteru Otani Sensei. Phil is also the highest ranking, licensed United States teacher of the ancient Japanese sword style of Ryushin Jigen Ryu Iai.

The seminar will include comprehensive instruction in Kihon (fundamentals), formal Kata (solo forms), Kumidachi (partner practice) , and Kenjutsu (fencing).
