Fred Bernier

Training in the Japanese Martial Arts since 1978. Holds Black Ranks in Japanese Jujutsu, Aikijujutsu, Aikido and Iaijutsu. Has a real passion for the martial arts and visits Japan on a yearly basis to continue his training with his Sword and Jujutsu teachers.

On the board of directors of the International Federation of Jujutsuans and the Governing Body of Ryushin Jigen Ryu USA.

Fred received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 83' and his Master of Science Degree in 87' from New Jersey Institute of Technology.  Fred is also a veteran of the US Army who served with the 1^st Infantry Division as a Reconnaissance Scout between 1972 and 1974.

He is married for 35 years to Cathy and they have 2 grown sons.  They currently reside in Secaucus, NJ.

Jerry Tardi

Training in the Japanese Martial Arts for over 24 years. Holds Black Ranks in Japanese Jujutsu, Iaijutsu and Kendo. He also holds an advanced Black Belt rank in Isshin Ryu Karate and is a certified Shiatsu practitioner.

Has a real passion for the martial arts and continues to train on a regular basis with his teacher and mentor, Joe Miller. Miller Sensei spent 20+ years living in Japan and received his Menkyo Kaiden directly from the founder of Hakko Ryu Jujutsu, Ryuho Okuyama in 1988.

Jerry currently resides in Bayonne, NJ.
